 Vote Emily-Ann Nash number 1 for NUS Conference Delegate!

I am Emily-Ann Nash and currently I am Vice-President Education and Equalities at Brighton Students Union. The National Union of Students, to many of you the organisation offer is nothing more than just a NUS card which gets you a free cheeseburger after buying a meal at McDonalds, however it is more than that, it is an organisation which fights for students rights. I am running for NUS conference delegate in the Brighton Student Union elections. Year after year people go on the NUS annual conference to pass motions which shape the policy for the student movement.

In November I was elected onto NUS Welfare Committee, so I have co- written the national welfare policy for the NUS. I have a wide understanding of the student movement and challenges the student movement will face during the coming years due to the cuts in higher education. I also have a good understanding of the Higher Education and Welfare zones as I have input in both zones.

Let me be your representative at annual conference as I understand the Brighton student demographic and what student wants and needs are.
