In a world of financial crisis, world of different ideologies, beliefs and faith. In the world of is no such a thing as right or wrong but just a way of viewing things, new ways of viewing life. Social science is a tool, which can lead us to understand what we need to learn how to co-exist. I cannot do anything without a good link of relationships. To be the social science representative is to be that link, it’s being the support and observer of relationships between Tutor and pupils, Lecturer and student. To me it will be such a great opportunity to see how the university institution works in the construction of our society. Always looking at the best way to help my fellow students to achieve their whole potential. I will not ask anyone to vote for me just for the sake of it, but I will ask you to vote, choose, modify, be an agent of transformation and have in mind the power of this action. I sincerely believe that those who have applied to be the social science representative will have the capacity, the courage and determination to do exactly that. Surely, it will be a big challenge, but it will also be a big daily re-affirmation that we can do it.
I will try to do my best if I’m elected to meet the expectations of those who voted me in to be the social science rep and hopefully together we are going to learn together and progress together towards this amazing time that is university. I promise with all my strength, dignity and loyalty, I will do my best.
Together we can search new ways to co-exist at University of Brighton in the School of Social Science. Let me be your support.
