ASS SAR Amy Rutland

Hey Guys,

Standing for Social Science School Representative is important to me, as I feel that there is so much I can bring to the job in order to help develop the school into a brilliant institution designed to offer its students the best possible. To this I will focus on feedback, library resources, petition for the introduction of module readers for all modules and subjects, argue for an increase in course cohesion between modules and I am determined to get the removal of hidden course costs for students and improve the relationship between students and tutors and to make our educational experience at university as exciting and enjoyable as possible.

We pay for our education; therefore we surely deserve the best?

To the role I would bring not only a fresh attitude and approach, but also background knowledge of working in a team as well as having to take responsibility and act on my own accord. I think that I would make an excellent School Rep for Social Science as I am a dedicated, hard-working student, and know how to balance my time well between work and play.

The opportunity to become a rep would not only be beneficial to a huge degree for me, but I think that there is a lot that I could bring to the role. For example I am conscientious and hard working yet determined and amicable. This echoed through my current role as Health & Social Science Faculty Rep.

Overall I think that if you vote for me, Amy Rutland, to be Social Science School Rep I would not only bring the best to the student body, I would work to my fullest capacity to ensure that we, the students of Brighton University, have the best possible resources and teaching possible. We are the future of this country, and in order to gain the most from our university experiences, we need the best and that was it what I will give you.

Thank you for reading,

Regards,

Amy  x
