ET SAR Adam Warner

Hello everyone, my name is Adam Warner.  Some of you may know me already, but for those who don’t, I am a 2nd year BA Geographer who is running for the School Representative position for the school of Environment & Technology.

The reason why I would like you to vote for me is because I am a very easy going person, friendly and when problems are occurring that are needed to be discussed, I am always happy to lend a helpful Hand.  Furthermore I am very easy to talk to when discussions take place, if someone has an idea that they ever want to put forward,  I will always listen to the views and not just ignore it.

I am a keen student and love a challenge.  I am currently part of the University’s swimming team and have recently become president of the Brighton & Sussex Jewish Society.  Furthermore I have had a lot of experience in working with the student union, as I was elected last year to be the Mouslecoomb Halls Representative.  Even though I am a very busy person with my studies and my extra curricular activities, I am still willing to find time to sort out any issues that need to be raised about how each course is running throughout the year.

Some of my aims that I will try to put into place if I am elected are to have discussions with lecturers and course leaders which will involve considering appropriate times for lectures to take place,  suitable hand in dates for assignments, More use of studentcentral to help with modules.  Finally if there are any other issues not related to work on the course I will try my best to try to stop them from escalating in the future.
