If you believe that you need a variation of assessment it is important that you inform the University at the earliest possible opportunity ideally eight weeks before the date of any assessment. If you have an existing and permanent condition contact the Disability and Dyslexia team with evidence as soon as possible. If you develop or suspect you have a condition which adversely affects your ability to study i.e. dyslexia, mental health problems ect. contact the Disability and Dyslexia team for further guidance and possible screening. Once the University are informed of a condition which is likely to last for the whole of a student’s academic career the information will be sent to the student’s school and acted upon.
