Open meeting on 19 February 2009 from 6 00 to -7 30pm in the Rumblin’ Tum, Cockcroft, Moulsecoomb
An e-questionnaire will be sent to you on 23 February regarding this topic. When you think of the Union what officer roles do you want representing you, should there be a President? A Vice President Education and Equalities? Or should we start having a Vice President Campaigns, VP Student Engagement or even VP Public Relations? We then have to think what if any part time officers we have. The options go on and on, what we want to know is what you want. For instance should we be looking at having seven or more full time officers instead of five? We also need to think about having a trustee board to comply with the charity commissions regulations. Trustees are a group of people who take the overriding responsibility for the Union and its actions, this then presents more questions- like should the trustees be students? External professionals? Or a mixture of the two?
