RAG week is fast approaching....

What is RAG?

According to Wikipedia 'It is not known where the term "Rag" originates in this context, but it is thought to be from the Victorian era when students took time out of their studies to collect rags to clothe the poor. The verb "rag" means to badger or pester someone, and early Rags collectors may have "ragged" passers-by until they made a donation.' This is probably completely untrue, and there is no plan to pester passer-by for clothes.

RAG stands for Raise & Give. RAG week is a week of the year where a load of fundraising events take place, all to raise money for charity. This year's RAG week begins on Sunday 5 February, with loads of things happening throughout the following week.

What is going on during RAG week?
