Your Elected Officers Union Review Essential Guide 2009

General Election 2010

Throughout the week we’ll be keeping you updated with the voter turnout and the way the electoral races are going. While we can’t tell you who’s winning, we can tell you the SWING. This is the percentage difference between first and second place.

When looking at the turnout and the swing, it’s important to remember that there are 21,000 students at the University of Brighton and that a push in one area could completely change the result.

If you have not voted yet,
read the manifestos, talk to the candidates, and think about what you want from your University and SU then log on to Studentcentral and vote.

Current Votes & Swing – Thursday 15.00

Vice President Wellbeing - 803 votes - swing – 30%
Vice President Campus & Communications - 900 votes - swing - 10%
Vice President Activities & Events - 1202 votes - swing - 20%
Vice President Academic Affairs - 925 votes - swing = 13%
