women's football

Eastbourne (1st team)

The women's football team play in the BUCS league every Wednesday afternoon followed by the team social on Wednesday nights. Unfortunately, we were recently relegated from the premier league which is disappointing to say the least. However, we did reach the BUCS Futsal Championships in Sheffield which we are very proud of. This season with hard work and determination we believe we can go on to win our matches and head back up into the Premier League where we belong.

The women's football team consists of many different personality's which is why we all get along so well together. We have a 'social' together every Wednesday night, if you are new to the University scene; a social would include everyone dressing up in a theme i.e. Geeks, Chavs, Smurfs, Gnomes, Indians... the list goes on! This is the time where we like to let our hair down, have a laugh and party until the early morning. I can honestly say that my best nights out at Uni have been at football socials, so I encourage you to come and experience what it's like to be a football girl if you haven't already!

I hope this has given you a small insight to what this season will be like as a football girl, everyone is welcome even if you are just interested in socializing with us. For more information come and visit us at the Fresher's Fair.

Brighton (2nd team)

The Brighton based women’s football are part of the BUCS league and play matches on Wednesday afternoons. We train twice a week on the STP pitches at Falmer - on a Monday evening and Sunday afternoon. Although we take our football serio

usly, we take socials even more seriously. Socials take place every Wednesday night allowing us to have a laugh together as a team.

Every year at the end of the season 'The Team' goes on tour. This is the

highlight of the year and is undertaken with maximum enthusiasm by all of the girls.
