Extraordinary General Meetings - Union what? The Annual General Meeting of the Students' Union is currently considered the soveriegn body of the Union. This means that this is the top level decision making body of the Union. An Extraordinary General Meeting is called (by members or officers) to set a specific policy item. There are some regulations attached to calling an EGM i.e. how many signatures, the number of days notice etc. If you go here to the EGM minisite there will be details on how to call one and any that have been called in recent history. nb please be aware clicking on the link above will take you to the Extraordinary General Meeting minisite and away from Democracy minisite and its sub pages 22_01_10/mbr
