What is Wellbeing Buddies?

Student life is a fantastic opportunity full of learning, growing, having fun, ‘finding yourself’, making friends and much more, but it’s not always easy and can be stressful at times – not just the academic stuff but everything else involved in being a student. Your S.U. know how hard student life can be, but also what amazing fun it can be too. This is why we’ve set up the Wellbeing Buddies scheme.

NetBuddies is an online instant chat service on which you can talk 1-2-1 to a trained volunteer student Buddy. Volunteers can listen, have a chat and direct you to services that might be able to help you. NetBuddies is open on Monday afternoons during term time from 12-3pm.
